BJP Leader Shyamkaran Tekdiwal and Senior Journalist Manish Malhotra Appointed Members of Maa Pateshwari University Advisory Committee


Bahraich: Senior BJP leader Shyamkaran Tekdiwal and senior journalist and social worker Manish Malhotra from Bahraich have been nominated as members of the Advisory Committee constituted by Maa Pateshwari University, Balrampur. Their appointment has been widely welcomed across the district, with several social, business, and educational organizations describing it as a matter of pride for Bahraich.


According to an official order issued by the University Registrar, the advisory committee has been formed with the objective of promoting social responsibility and fostering a high-quality academic environment at the newly established Maa Pateshwari University. Eminent personalities from the fields of education, journalism, social service, and other sectors have been included in the committee.


Shyamkaran Tekdiwal, who has been associated with the BJP organization, education, and social activities for many years, is also the manager of Maharaj Singh Inter College and a women’s college in Bahraich. His wife, Sudha Tekdiwal, is the current Chairperson of the Municipal Council. In the district, Tekdiwal is recognized as an active educationist, seasoned politician, and dedicated social worker.


Manish Malhotra, who has also been inducted into the committee, is the Bahraich and Shravasti correspondent for the prestigious national news agency PTI. He also serves as President of the District Olympic Association, Bahraich, Senior District Vice President of the Udyog Vyapar Mandal, and is associated with several social organizations. His active contribution to journalism and social service earned him a place on the advisory panel.


The responsibility of Convener of the committee has been entrusted to noted educationist and senior journalist Sarvesh Singh from Balrampur. Other members include educationists Ashutosh Shukla and Sachin Kumar Singh from Balrampur; senior journalist Janki Sharan Dwivedi, social worker Ram Krishna Tiwari, and educationist Dr. Amay Srivastava from Gonda; journalists Pankaj Mishra and Shiv Kumar Pathak from Shravasti; and Principal Ram Bihari Bajpai of Jagjeet Inter College.


Several social and educational organizations in the district congratulated the newly appointed members and expressed confidence that their experience and guidance would contribute significantly to the university’s growth and academic excellence.
