Wokeism, China & Team George Soros biggest threats to India: Shaurya Chakra Major Pawan Kumar

In a candid conversation with Prateek Shukla, Shaurya Chakra Major Pawan Kumar spoke on radicalism in Bangladesh, threats to India's sovereignty, prospects of a political career, and conversion-rackets. Excerpts:-

Q) What, according to you, are the three major threats Bharat (and the Bharatiya society) is facing at the moment?

A) Wokeism – This is the most contagious disease our society is facing presently. We need to find the right vaccination for it before it takes the form of an epidemic. West is investing hugely to spread it into India

External Threats – China is much ahead of India in terms of infra development especially, in the defence sector. Thankfully, the incumbent government has massively boosted our defence ecosystem. However, we need the continuation of this infra push for the coming decades to ensure the growth of our defence sector.

Internal Threat – Team George Soros is an evident threat to all of us; many prominent leaders also subscribe to him. They are trying every trick in the book to destabilise us, to rip us apart, to divide us but they don’t know that people of Bharat have woken up.

Q) If given a chance, would you enter politics? If yes, what would be your priorities?

A) Of course, it is a right given to us all by our Constitution, and what better place than politics wherein you can serve the people through the right policies. Things are changing fast and people are rejecting dynasty politics, thus opening gates for many deserving candidates from non-political backgrounds. My priorities will be to ensure practical education, making 'one student one sport' mandatory, providing adequate, free & seamless medical benefits to senior citizens, and implementing modern tech-driven farming.

Q) With radicals running amok in Bangladesh, turbulence in Manipur, and aggressive China, what do you make of our eastern borders? How do you see the Army and paramilitary’s role?

A) We should be ready for any eventuality. Though our security forces are capable of dealing with any such situation, we need more impetus on the development of strategic infra along the LAC. Besides, we need a more significant presence of paramilitary forces along the Bangladesh border. We should not let even a single Bangladeshi enter into our country. Additionally, we must have a plan to deport those Bangladeshis who are already residing here in India.

Q) You have never shied away from being a proud Hindu. With Dalits increasingly getting out of the Dharmic fold, along with an active conversion racket, what’s your message for the Hindu society? What can an ordinary Hindu do to safeguard the faith?

A) One should always be proud of his roots and respect others. I am proud of being a Hindu. The government should come up with strict laws to avoid conversions. There are hardly any voluntary conversions happening.

The only solution to safeguard one's faith is to stay united, stay alert, be educated, and impart the education of our rituals to the next generation. One must be proud of their heritage. Hinduism is a way of life, we don't believe in hurting anyone.

Q) Lastly, your comments on the recent incident of 'assault' on the fiancé of an Army personnel in Odisha.

A) This issue raises some of the serious issues in our policing system. Though we should not blame the entire police force for the incident, this debacle should be enough for the senior leadership of police to train and groom their men on ground as per the changing socio-economic behaviour.

Though they are now sharing some cut clips of some videos which doesn’t have any heads and tails and still they can never justify the unlawful detention of a serving Army officer and the harassment of his fiancé and the entire incident also puts the question mark on the basic upgradation of our police stations as the CCTVs were missing as reported by Crime branch DSP. Ironically, Bharatpur police station is the most model police station, which was inaugurated by CM Naveen Patnaik in March this year.
