Girish Chandra Mishra Appointed Vice President of U.P. Lalit Kala Academy
Sitapur: The Yogi government has once again placed its trust in Girish Chandra Mishra, appointing him as the Vice President of the State Lalit Kala Academy under the Department of Culture.
A resident of Kakaiya Para village in Kamalapur block of Sitapur district, Girish Chandra Mishra has long-standing ties with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). A graduate in Political Science from Kanpur University, Mishra has also held various key positions in the cultural organization, Sanskar Bharati.
Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh extended his congratulations to Mishra, wishing him a bright future. In response to the appointment, Mishra expressed his commitment to accelerating the growth of music, art, dance, theater, folk art, and other cultural forms in Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized the government's intention to involve emerging artists from across the state in various programs, aiming for the preservation and promotion of art and culture.
Mishra’s appointment has been met with widespread congratulatory messages from his home district, where locals are celebrating the honor bestowed upon him.
